Over 20 years specialist expertise and experience
with a focus on Emotional Intelligence, Autism and Behavioural Approaches
​I’m a mum & a teacher with a specific focus on Emotional Intelligence, Autism and different Behaviour Approaches. I am also a Certified Parent Educator, Team Teach Tutor, Relax Kids Coach and have a Post-Graduate Certificate in Autism.
Having expertise and more than 20 years experience working with various children with various needs, I am fascinated by the latest neuroscience research and the implications this has for our perceptions, approaches and strategies when working with neuro-diverse children.
This forms the basis of my teaching, whether I'm in class with my students or teaching parents and professionals in a workshop. I am also applying this in my own parenting! I enjoy empowering professionals, parents and children with proven skills and tools, to go beyond behaviour management and move instead towards raising happy, confident and resilient children!

Together with my husband, Neels, an Autism and behaviour specialist himself, we run Growth & Grit. It is our vision to equip and support as many children and adults as we can, to really make an impact on personal levels.
